The Imedtech Journal serves as a platform for publishing articles on research and community service.

The Imedtech Journal, as indicated by its acronym—Instructional Media, Design, and Technology—is a journal focused on Instructional Technology.

As part of the Body of Knowledge in the field of instructional technology, this journal has the following scope:

Articles related to the design of learning systems, learning strategies, and studies on learners and their characteristics,

Articles related to development, such as: print-based technology development—including instructional materials, learning media, audiovisual technology, computer-based technology, and integrated technology,

Articles related to the field of utilization, such as: media utilization, diffusion of innovations, institutional implementation, as well as policies and regulations;

Articles related to the field of management, such as the management of learning centers and resources, delivery systems (online learning), and learning information management; and

Articles related to the field of assessment, such as formative and summative evaluations.
